These are interesting questions that I previously didn’t think about. To answer some of these questions, I believe that the current scale of these objects creates a more intimate setting or narrative. These objects would feel more personal and playful, and if the scale were increased, they might become more of a decorative element. When I was creating these objects, I wanted my audience to feel as if these objects were part of a playhouse or puppet show that could then be used for storytelling or educational purposes. But mostly, I wanted my classmates and tutor to just enjoy these cute little characters and perhaps even pick them up to play with.
